Thomas Brückelt is a famous German glider pilot and a great aerobatics enthusiast. Photos illustrating the article were taken at Melle-Gronegau (EDXG) and in Weremien in Bieszczady mountains (South-East Poland).
We would like to point out that the configuration of Perkoz described in the article has been changed. SZD-54-2 Perkoz has undergone a complete facelift of cabins (including new instrument panels, more comfortable head rests, static and electric wireing hidden under the floor, new elevator trim).
